The 2009 China Open is a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It is the 11th edition of the China Open, and is part of the ATP 500 Series of the 2009 ATP Tour, and of the Premier Series of the 2009 WTA Tour. Both the men's and the women's events are held at the Beijing Tennis Center in Beijing, People's Republic of China, from October 2 through October 11, 2009.
The Beijing Olympic Green Tennis Center, purpose-built for the 2008 Olympic Games, will host the 2009 China Open.
