The 2011 French Open (also known as Roland Garros, after the famous French aviator) will be a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It will be the 110th edition of the French Open, and the second Grand Slam event of the year. It will take place at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France, from May 17 to June 5, 2011.

The Mayor described it as “one of the best sporting facilities in the world which will definitively reinforce Madrid’s status as a great global tennis capital”. Previously held indoors, 2009 marked the first outdoor clay edition of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event.

The 2011 SA Tennis Open is a scheduled tennis tournament to be played on hard courts indoors. It will be the 19th edition of the SA Tennis Open and will be part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the 2011 ATP World Tour. It will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa from January 30 through February 6, 2011.

The 2010 Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 38th edition of the event known that year as the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships, and was part of the 500 Series of the 2010 ATP World Tour. It was held at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan, from October 4 through October 11, 2010.

India’s only ATP World Tour tennis tournament, the Aircel Chennai Open, has had its contract extended for two years (2010-11) – guaranteeing more top-flight tennis in the city.

The 2010 Brisbane International is a joint ATP and WTA tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It will be the 2nd edition of the tournament and will be played at the Queensland Tennis Centre in Tennyson, Brisbane. The centre court, Pat Rafter Arena is named in honour of Australian tennis hero Patrick Rafter. It will run from January 3 to January 10.[1] It is part of the Australian Open Series in preparation for the first grandslam of the year.

The 2009 ATP World Tour Finals (also known as the 2009 Barclays ATP World Tour Finals) will be held in London, United Kingdom between November 22 and November 29 2009. It will be the first time the O2 arena hosts the ATP World Tour Year-End Singles and Doubles Championships.
Only the best eight singles players and best eight doubles teams of the year will qualify for the prestigious Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, to be played for the first time in 2009 at The O2 arena in London.

The Davidoff Swiss Indoors (known as the Davidoff Swiss Indoors for sponsorship reasons) is a professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It is currently part of the World Tour 500 Series of the ATP Tour. It is held annually at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland, in October, since 1995.
Roger Federer, who once served as a ball boy at the Davidoff Swiss Indoors Basel, fittingly became the first player to win three straight titles at his hometown tournament in 2008.
