BarCamp Mumbai Is back after a long break. But we are back and lets get back with a bang :)


The 7th edition of BarCamp Mumbai would be held on 2nd October, 2011 (Sunday) at MPSTME, Vile Parle West.
Barcamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from participants.

The 2011 Rugby World Cup will be the seventh Rugby World Cup, a quadrennial international rugby union competition inaugurated in 1987. At a meeting of the International Rugby Board (IRB) held in Dublin on 17 November 2005, New Zealand was selected as the host country in preference to Japan and South Africa. There were two rounds of voting by the IRB Council to decide the host nation, with South Africa eliminated in the first round.

3rd International exhibition Turkmengurlusyk 2011 and scientific conference «Development of Construction Industry of Turkmenistan» will be held in the modern Exhibition center “Sergi Koshgi”of the Turkmenistan Capital Ashgabat on August 25-27, 2011.

The 2011 French Open (also known as Roland Garros, after the famous French aviator) will be a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It will be the 110th edition of the French Open, and the second Grand Slam event of the year. It will take place at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France, from May 17 to June 5, 2011.

The Mutua Madrid Open is staged at the impressive new stadium in Madrid, the city’s Magic Box Tennis venue. The Mayor described it as “one of the best sporting facilities in the world which will definitively reinforce Madrid’s status as a great global tennis capital”. Previously held indoors, 2009 marked the first outdoor clay edition of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event.

The Pakistani cricket team are scheduled to tour the West Indies from 21 April to 24 May 2011. The tour will consist of two Tests, one Twenty20 (T20) and five One Day Internationals (ODIs).

Fastener Fair India 2011 is the major trade event for fastener and fixing industry, in Mumbai. The show focuses to promote fastener and fixing technologies across Indian and international markets. The Australian cricket team are scheduled to tour Bangladesh from 9 April to 13 April 2011. The tour will consist of three One Day Internationals (ODIs). Michael Clarke has been announced as the Australian captain, following Ricky Ponting's resignation.

The 2011 Indian Premier League season, abbreviated as IPL 4 or the 2011 IPL, will be the fourth season of the Indian Premier League, established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The tournament will be hosted by India and the opening ceremony will be held in Chepauk Stadium, Chennai, the home venue for 2010 Champions Chennai Super Kings. The season will run from April 8 to May 28 2011. The season saw the addition of new teams the Pune Warriors and Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
